CLOSE FUTURE...

Dear friends, as you for sure know, I am thinking about being a missionary in Croatia in my future. I am not sure about that yet, but I am seeking God´s will.
Because of that, I am so happy to have the privilege to visit my friends Stevo and Sarah Vuletic in Rijeka. I will fly on 12th of December to Zagreb. I will spend (I hope :o)) 6 wonderful days with them. Me and Sarah will go to meet a group of missionaries in Slovenia, which will be just a short trip. I will spend my last night in Zagreb so I can be with my girlfriends from English camp from last summer. I will fly back to Czech on 18th of December.
The purpose of that trip is to spend some time with Vuletic family, missionaries from an organization called Josiah Venture. Meet the youth group and see the church in Rijeka.
Can't wait to be there. I hope that God will open more or less the door to Croatia for me, so I would understand my future more.

BABY BOOM.....

The last week was quite interesting for me. In one way hard, because I broke my car and I was really busy in my work. And the interesting things which happened (in a good way) was to meet lots of friends . Let me explain....
My girlfriend Tereza from Prague come to visit me after five years of not seeing her. We had so much fun to be together. I can say that we are close friends even we don't see each other that much.
OK you might think, why I named this article BABY BOOM, right?
Well the thing is, that my friend Tereza is five months pregnant, I knew that before. But during the time when Tereza was visiting me, Monika my other close friend was hanging out with us too. And she told me that she is pregnant too (10 weeks). Listen, all of them are married, you don't have to worry! :o)))That's not all! All of us went to visit my cousin, Ingrid. She is mom of two kids. My sister in law come there too, and guess what.......SHE IS PREGNANT! Can you imagine better Friday evening for me, me, one mom and three pregnant girlfriends? I definitely can't.
Just for your information, I ended up making waffles for all of them and cleaning my cousins kitchen. That's not end of the story.......that night we went to sleep over in my friends house, because they were gone. Theirs beautiful dog has little puppies and my friend Daja was watching them. I did not want to live her there alone so me and my two pregnant girlfriends came to sleep there. .... well another little babes around me, nine little puppies....
Let me tell you this, I could not wait to see my friends on youth group, so could feel NORMAL for a little while there.
The last thing.....before I left my apparent to the youth group, I have got an message on Skype! Girlfriend from the States wrote me that she is PREGNANT! What a surprise!
Let me summarize my last three days.... four pregnant girlfriends, nine puppies, one mom, two kids and ME! I am really so happy for a blessing of my friends!

Miss BoŽena

Miss BoŽena is a name for one very important event we had with the girls from my youth group. We had the whole afternoon for ourselves! You might think, what a weird name, Miss BoŽena.
Let me explain...
Miss - as Miss of the Czech Republic for example, that means the most beautiful woman
BoŽena, in Czech it's short for Boží žena which is Godly woman in English.
SO........ Miss BoŽena means Beautiful Godly Woman!
The topic that we talk about was BEAUTY. First, we had Amy Ellenwood to teach us about spiritual beauty of a woman. The second part was focused on our physical beauty, so we invited a girl who taught us nail polish technics. And the last thing we did- we watched a movie. We also had some very good food there. Each of us had to bring something good on one plate. So we had everything from appetizers thru very good salads to the deserts!
I am so happy that we had chance to gather together. We had so much fun and a very good time. THANK YOU GIRLS!

One exciting weekend!

Dear friends,
I have just come home and I have to share with you about the last weekend.
I had a chance to take Pendolino train to Prague. The first reason of that trip was work. I went to the baptist conference on Friday, and on Sunday was happening something different, which I will explain later. The conference was just OK. But after that I had the privilege to spend wonderful time with my schoolmate from Bible school in Prague. My friend`s name is Nina Rabe. She is a dear friend of mine, and I have to tell you that every time I can see her is special for me.
The whole Saturday was about friends who I have no chance to see a lot. One of them was Sarah Springer. Sarah is from Chicago, but she, her husband and her little baby live in Prague as missionaries. They build new church there. I have a long history from States with them, and at that time I had no idea that I would meet them in Malenovice and now we can call each other friends. And all of us live in the Czech Republic! Isn't this exciting?
I had a nice privilege to spend two hours with Agnieszka in the afternoon . She is my schoolmate from grammar school. She still lives in Prague. She does Phd. of physiotherapy there. Time with her was very special to me. It was very nice to talk to her and share what is happening in our lives.
Later that day, in the evening, I was with my close friend Dalibor and his girlfriend and other people. We were able to go to the movie theater for a movie called Once and I had my best drink ever (after Margarita of course) Mojito!!!!
Sunday was kind of hard. WORK TIME! I spent the whole day outside staying next to the Exit stand. It was a BIG ecumenical thing, "Prayers for Home in the Czech Republic", and I was there for work reasons. I had a chance to talk to people and freeze the whole day :o))))!
Well, nice weekend. Lot's of coffees with friends, nice talks, freezing and working. Anyway, now I am sick at home, trying to get well for another work day, which is tomorrow!
