Dear friends,
I have just come home and I have to share with you about the last weekend.
I had a chance to take Pendolino train to Prague. The first reason of that trip was work. I went to the baptist conference on Friday, and on Sunday was happening something different, which I will explain later. The conference was just OK. But after that I had the privilege to spend wonderful time with my schoolmate from Bible school in Prague. My friend`s name is Nina Rabe. She is a dear friend of mine, and I have to tell you that every time I can see her is special for me.
The whole Saturday was about friends who I have no chance to see a lot. One of them was Sarah Springer. Sarah is from Chicago, but she, her husband and her little baby live in Prague as missionaries. They build new church there. I have a long history from States with them, and at that time I had no idea that I would meet them in Malenovice and now we can call each other friends. And all of us live in the Czech Republic! Isn't this exciting?
I had a nice privilege to spend two hours with Agnieszka in the afternoon . She is my schoolmate from grammar school. She still lives in Prague. She does Phd. of physiotherapy there. Time with her was very special to me. It was very nice to talk to her and share what is happening in our lives.
Later that day, in the evening, I was with my close friend Dalibor and his girlfriend and other people. We were able to go to the movie theater for a movie called Once and I had my best drink ever (after Margarita of course) Mojito!!!!
Sunday was kind of hard. WORK TIME! I spent the whole day outside staying next to the Exit stand. It was a BIG ecumenical thing, "Prayers for Home in the Czech Republic", and I was there for work reasons. I had a chance to talk to people and freeze the whole day :o))))!
Well, nice weekend. Lot's of coffees with friends, nice talks, freezing and working. Anyway, now I am sick at home, trying to get well for another work day, which is tomorrow!
